The men who made the Bundesliga boring!

It’s boring as hell: Always Bayern Munich! Always the same Bundesliga champion. No other club has even the slightest chance. The mighty FC Bayern won the German league ten years in a row. But who is to blame? Bayern themselves? Their great squad? Clever management? Nope, we tell you why it’s all the fault of a few men in black and yellow. Right?

  1. 'mens' football was boring, is boring, as long as they 'buy' people' for crazy money from all over the world. It's a 'moneytron' – and people getting fed up with it – Richtig oder nit ? If you look at our 'VRT' (national 'Flemish' Television – you get 10 minutes of news and the rest is boring football, or cycling) And they call themselves a 'news channel' (hmm)

  2. 10+ minutes of passionate Bayern Hate! Plus, if you let the petroleum mafia buy your clubs like pimps, it's ⚽ soul you'll lose and identity …unlike Quatar St-Germain.

  3. İt was höneß who Made Bayern big by copying amarican Merchandise strategies.

When he became Bayern Boss, About 70% of the income of Clubs came from Ticket Sales. He realized that Merchandise is a big income Chance.

But since the damn Champions League it is the Money from there why no Other German club is able to afford Bayern.

Also the best Players will only to play in the CL. So every Other Club cannot hold some Saisons Their best Players, because they will leave to a CL club.

And Now it is a unfair Rally…

  4. learning from Brazil and french league, no one domination in 2 League. or Argentina league after the league to be a tournament, or MLS league, bundesliga is just like North ireland league, always Linfield and Linfield, well it strange Bayern always buy a player from their rivals, plus they have anything for buy a player from abroad, that why Bayern always champion, it different with France and Brazil league, meanwhile other team never buy player from Bayern Munich, it rare, but Bayern Munich always buy that players from the rival, then there many more like el classico or el trafico, other country league have that, MU with Liverpool, Ajax-Feyenoord-PSV, then Porto-sporting-Benfica and many more, in bundesliga no one like Bayern Munich, TSV1860, is not big derby for Munich, only Schalke vs Dortmund, not Munich with the other

  5. Interesting take, but I think this is „windup-merchant“ stuff as blaming Dortmund and 50+1 on the boring Bundesliga.

And I don‘t think that 10mins is long enough to explain the problem. There are LOADS of factors in there (Allianz-Arena, Dortmund going nearly bancrupt, Scouting of other clubs like Schalke/Hamburg/Herta and more historical developments like the „finale dahoam“), but „blaming“ Dortmund and 50+1 is just poor journalism combined with clickbaiting……

    Expect better from DW, tbh….

  6. The problem is not the 50+1! 50+1 is the guarantee that football is still kind of affordable, related to the city, to sum it up: a sport for the people and not some rich companies or authoritarian states!

  7. Bayern will not continue to dominate indefinitely someone will break there stranglehold over The Bundesliga at some point history tells us all great empires fall eventually it just a matter of time & Bayern's empire will fall eventually no one knows when & know one can predict how but eventually it will happen have no doubt about that.

I think the 50 + 1 rule is absolutely fantastic from a British point of view nothing is perfect in life & yes
The 50 + 1 rule has it's draw backs but over all it's a massive + it helps keep The Bundesliga affordable for the most important people here
    The fans.

Bayern only want the 50 + 1 rule changed because they believe it will only help them to get more of a stranglehold over The Bundesliga than they already have.

The Bundesliga needs to look at
some kind of draft system for the youing German players comeing through only myb that would help.

    Keep Safe everyone.

  8. It is not Klopps fault or Bayerns. It is simply our fault as BVB. We made tons of money with players Haaland, Sancho, Dembele, Auba, Pulisic… We invested the money in the wrong players. If we would actually invest into better players and coaches , we would have given Bayern a better challenge. We had 6 different coaches in 6 years with 6 different philosophies. That's not working bruh

  9. I live in Germany since 2013, I was watching the league back then, I was realy enjoying it ( I am an United fan so it was just PLbefore) but after 2015 I even cancelled my sky subscription, I even prefer watching Serie A. And I live in Germany…

  10. The simple conclusion is Bayern bought all great talent from their competitors in the league & make sure their competitors don't get rich owners, that's all

  11. 50+1 STAYS! Its the only thing that keeps clubs to become soul-less marketing machines. The exceptions lilke wolfburg, leverkusen, hoffenheim and leipzig are the biggest problem. And a uefa financial faiplay is a toothless paper tiger

  12. I think the Fifty + 1 rule is the basic reason why Bayern Munich are dominating the German football. Football is now controlled by money, to get the best players a team have to invest heavily. I just think the FA have to sit and rewrite the Fifty + 1 rule

  13. Oh boy.
ANOTHER person saying that rich people make leagues better and that fan ownership makes leagues boring.
She's even more smug than most.
What kind of person BEGS for totalitarian oil barons to come in and take ownership away from the People?

The video shows someone saying that the English PL is boring, because the Top 4 is predictable.
Then says the Bundesliga was exciting when Dortmund won the league a few times.
So 4 teams is boring in England, but 2 teams are exciting in Germany?

    What?
Is this video sponsored by Qatar or the Saudis?

  14. The problem is that all the leagues want at least one team that can compete with the English teams for financing. We're the wild west in the England, and our teams are pumped full of sugar daddy cash, competition prize money and TV revenues. Parachute payments for getting relegated are more than European teams get for finishing in the top half. If you win the 2nd tier playoff, you get £100m for god's sake. We're absolutely rolling in it. So to keep competitive in Europe, leagues have to be top heavy in their revenues. Bayern are essentially Germany's representative in Europe now. The only way to improve European football is to handicap English football.
